I remember one day, after being severely wounded and betrayed by the medical professionals I trusted, I made a decision: I would not just survive—I would heal. I enrolled in natural healing and self-study, devoting years to research, trial and error, hands on. I became a Licensed Holistic Health Practitioner, but more so, I became an autodidact in spirit and in practice.
There was a televised debate where Charlie Kirk said: “Autodidacticism is what Leonardo da Vinci was. You don’t have to go to college to be wise.” Hearing that — that he claimed to be self-educated, learning outside the conventional system — I felt a deep joy, because that was me. Seventeen long years, hours of pain and of seeking healing, and there I was, head held high, defending what I knew, defending who I had become. Others who had once looked down on me—seeing my lack of medical credentials or formal schooling—had nothing to say when faced with the integrity of my self-study and my lived experience.
Thank you Charlie Kirk my Fren! ❤️❤️❤️🥰
